This is the white table wine, of our family that we produced from our own vineyards. It is a pleasing mix of the Trebbiano grape and the white Malvasia. This wine is aged in steel vats, and is generally light bodied, medium acidic, and fruity but dry.
The principle grape is the Trebbiano, one of the most familiar and widely diffused grapes in Italy. Its vast diffusion is as a result of its capacity to adapt to a variety of soils and climates. The Tuscan Trebbiano produces a lighter bodied and crisper wine than its counterparts. The white Malvasia grape belongs to an ancient viticulture, dating as far back as the Etruscan period. It is one of the most frequent to find withe grapes used in the Chianti area, but here, mixed with the Trebbiano grape, it adds a fragrant and sweeter note to this white table wine.
Our white table wine, because of its light fragrance, slightly dry, is best paired with fish or fresh cheeses, but it is also delightful as an aperative on a hot summer’s day.
