Our table red wine is based on Sangiovese.
The Sangiovese is the “king of red wines” in Italy and it is present most profusely in Tuscany.
The Sangiovese’s popularity is largely due to its diversity, which depends greatly on the soil typology in which the grape is grown. The Sangiovese grape is like a chameleon since it alters its genetics to the fit the environment, and hence, has many mutations that make this wine so various and interesting.
Our table red wine is composed of the greater percentage of Sangiovese, and a smaller percentage of Canaiolo, and even smaller percentage of Ciliegiolo.
The final result is a light and pleasing wine, gentle on the palate, with hints of cherry, strawberry and plum, and an after taste of roasted pepper. The colour is a brilliant ruby red.
Accompanies typical Tuscan pasta dishes and also grilled meats.
