During harvesting, the grapes are meticulously selected and processed at controlled temperatures using advanced wine-making techniques. These safeguard the structural equilibrium and the primary, fresh and pleasing aromas for a wine full of unmistakable aromas and flavors. The color is straw yellow with light greenish shades. The nose is fragrant with a dry, harmonious and delicate flavor. The taste is very pleasant, with a subtle fruity aftertaste.
Our Tuscan White IGT is a fragrant, round and harmonious wine, and is thus best accompanied by fish dishes, vegetables, and fresh cheeses, such as Mozzarella.
The principal grape is the Trebbiano, one of the most familiar and widely diffused grapes in Italy. Its vast diffusion is a result of its capacity to adapt to a variety of soils and climates. The Tuscan Trebbiano is a lighter bodied and crisper wine than its counterparts. The Chardonnay grape is a world class grape which grows equally well in Italy as it does in France, and it lends the wine a fruity nose and palate and gives the wine an elegant after-taste. The white Malvasia grape gives this wine its richness, since this grape is fragrant and is often used in white wines to soften an otherwise high acidic wine.
