Penne is very typical and one of the most well-known pasta in Italy. The characteristic of penne, which makes it distinctive, is its tubular and diagonally end cut shape. Its shape allows usingit with any sauce of a preference, because the sauce will seep and remain in pasta itself. Daicceroni Penne is furrowed (penne rigate), meaning that there are ridges on each penna, what also makes use of pasta expedient.

Storage Tips

Fusilli pasta is essentially indestructible as long as it is stored in a cool, dry place. It is perfectly usable if it is not exposed to moisture.

How to use

Boil water in a pan, adding salt and oil as desired. Add the pasta and bring to the boil before lowering the heat and allowing it to simmer uncovered for 12 minutes. Drain, serve and enjoy!
