From our best DOCG Chianti vineyards we obtain this wine made from Sangiovese grapes. Pliocene lands that with corals and shells still bear the signs of the tropical sea that covered them 2.5-3 million years ago. The obsessive care of the grapes is the basis of this great red wine and their careful selection during the harvest leads us to the perfect musts to be vinified in steel tanks at a controlled temperature and then aged in oak barrels for about fourteen months.
After at least another four months of bottle aging we obtain this full, structured and vigorous wine.
First and second courses of meat and game grilled or stewed, braised; aged cheeses and cold cuts. Also excellent in combination with vegetables and rich soups.
